Contacts lenses have got me a lot of trouble for my eyes. As my eyes are very sensitive, I am prone to allergies very much. Contacts lenses make my eyes very weak and I have to visit hospital every now and then because of eye infections. I even changed my eye specialist twice. No use so far. My new eye specialist suggested me that since I have a small astigmatism, I better use toric lenses instead of soft lenses. I always used Focus Dailies daily disposable lenses.
Initially, Hydrocurve 3 Toric lenses were very uncomfortable but then my eyes started adjusting to it. I am very much comfortable in the toric lens now. One surprising factor is that I can see things far better in toric lenses than soft lenses. In soft lens I had not realized it before that my vision is a little blurry with nearer objects.
They are pricy. But if you maintain them well, it will last forever. Since they are costly, I tend to take care of the lens very much. So I don’t have any problem with deposits as well. My eye infections frequency is reduced. I don’t have any itchiness in eyes as well, even if I am wearing the lens for long hours.
