I have only a small amount of astigmatism (+1.00). I was looking for a lens which I can use regularly and can correct my astigmatism. My eye specialist suggested me Durasoft 3 Optifit Toric with a warning that initially it may give me some discomfort and eye allergies. There was no problem at all. It fitted well in the eye.
The good thing about them is that they do not rotate in your eyes. There is a mechanism to keep it in your eyes when you look around and blink. That’s a good thing. The lens is comparatively thicker. I think to correct astigmatism it should be thicker. They never break much. They do if you are very rough on them.
These toric lenses are costlier than the normal ones. As they required special manufacturing depending upon your prescription, they take longer time to get delivered. They are manufactured by a precise computer aided process. So you don’t have to worry about the specifications. Just make sure that you consult a doctor before ordering the lens yourself. Eye specifications vary all the time.
Cons - Not so many shades are available with this product. I wanted more shades. Hope they will get it soon.
