I have been using contact lenses for almost five years now. While travelling I always proffered glasses to avoid the drudgery of cleaning and maintaining contacts. Sometime back, my ophthalmologist recommended 1Day Acuvue disposable contact lens. I tried it on a trail basis for two weeks, and let me tell you, it feels really great to wear them. You will not feel a thing in your eyes. It is very soft and comfortable. Now I use it very frequently. While travelling I can easily keep few in my handbag and no worries of cleanliness and infection.
With normal lenses my eyes (They are a bit more sensitive) normally end up reddish in colour after 2 or 3 hours. With 1 Day Acuvue. I can last few more hours without red eyes.
Inserting the lens is little difficult. But no worries, you will be mastering the art after five or six insertions.
For those who want to try it out, guys, completely utilize the trial period before spending money on it though 1buck per day is comparatively cheaper.
I really loved this lens. I have not started using it daily. While travelling it is being a real relief to me.
